Website continually being developed

Welcome to Kernow Directory. Organisations supporting adults across Cornwall are continuing to add their details. If you are an organisation, please visit one of our directories and click “Add a listing.”

Our information, advice and guidance pages are co-produced with people who have lived experience and will continue to grow.

Health and Wellbeing information - Neurodiversity

Healthy Cornwall has a Learning Disability and Autism Support team, called the CHAMPS. They are people with learning disabilities and/or autistic people. They produce information around:

  • getting adult social care services

  • getting Easy Read information

  • information about the Safe Places scheme

  • information about eating healthily and being more active

  • friendships, relationships, empowerment and sexual health (FRESH)

  • Diabetes

You can find the CHAMPS team online on the Healthy Cornwall website.

Mental Health

There are many ways you can keep your mental health fit and well, just as you would with your physical health. Having a healthy mind, and recognising what to do if you start to have difficulties with your mental health, can help you to avoid getting into a crisis. Our mental health is just as important as our physical health. Sometimes it's good and sometimes it's bad. We've got help and advice, however you're feeling.

Navigating Neurodiversity Group

This course is run by Talking Therapies Service at Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. It provides an opportunity for people who are autistic and/or people with ADHD, to learn more about their individual neurodivergent challenges.

It does not matter if you are diagnosed, or self-diagnosed.

Attendees can learn coping strategies and build a better sense of self-compassion. The course takes place over 8 x 2 hour sessions held fortnightly.
